| A Cappella Showcase is competing and would like to invite you to do so, with us, as GUEST MEMBERS of the chorus. |
| What is WORLD CHOIR GAMES? It is the largest international choral competition in the world, taking place every two years. It is the signature event of Interkultur of Germany. This year is the first time it will take place in North America, and the first time they will have a BARBERSHOP HARMONY category. The 2012 Games are expected to bring 20,000 participants and tens of thousands of visitors from more than 70 countries. |
| To date, 10 GUEST MEMBERS from Areas 3 and 5 have auditioned, passed most of the audition, and are working on repertoire for the big event. They will be every bit a part of A Cappella Showcase for this, and will also be taking part in coaching sessions with Dr. Greg Lyne and Cindy Hansen in preparation for the Games, as well as enjoying the option of singing on a Chapter show on April 28th. But – they will be working from their own homes for the most part, with only a minimal amount of compulsory rehearsals. |
